This is a high-performance, high-yield money market savings vehicle and is recommended for those depositors who maintain a balance in excess of $15,000. This account has limited check-writing privileges* plus you can earn 0.50% APY on balances of $1-$14,999.

The depositor is eligible to receive a free ATM card, free Online Banking, free Telephone Banking and will receive a monthly statement of transactions similar to a checking account. The account requires a minimum opening balance of $15,000 and this minimum balance must be maintained to earn the APY**.  The interest rate paid on this account is found on the current rate sheet.  There is no minimum balance required on this account. All deposits are subject to collection before withdrawal. Direct deposits (such as payroll, pension checks or social security) can be made to this account. Interest earned on this account is subject to income tax and the bank issues a yearly IRS form 1099. The depositor must supply the bank with a taxpayer identification number (social security number).

This is an FDIC insured deposit. No passbook is required for transactions. You may only make 6 preauthorized transfers from the account each statement cycle; which may include check, POS, draft or similar order to third party
